NEW & TIME SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Summer School If you earned a D or F in a core class required for graduation or college entrance, you will likely need to attend summer school. The 2026 summer school session will be held from June 10 to July 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. With only four weeks to complete required work, students are only permitted to miss a maximum of three days. Please consider the summer school dates and attendance policy when planning summer vacations. Finalized summer school schedules will be emailed out on June 8 once grades are finalized. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Withem, Mrs. Collier, or Mr. Prodan.
AP Testing The second week of AP Testing is from Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15. All testing will be in the Flex MPR, D-202 or B-100 with morning exams beginning at 8:15 a.m. and afternoon exams at 12:15 p.m. Students should have received a letter in the mail telling them which room to report to. PARENTS
Lost and Found The locker rooms were cleaned of all left items. Cleats, sweatshirts, athletic bags, water bottles, and any other lost and found items will be donated to a local charity on Friday, May 15. Please check the lost and found for items you may be missing before it's too late.
Senior Lawn Signs Class of 2026 Lawn Signs are available now, so get yours before they sell out! They are available in the school office for $25. You can reserve and pay for your lawn sign here, or you can pay in the office when you pick up your sign. Thank you!
SENIORS
Senior Community Service Requirement Seniors, as a reminder, we have a community service requirement for each program and pathway (CLP, PLP, and TCP). You will need to complete your designated hours to receive your diploma. Students should submit their hours by Tuesday, May 19. If you have questions on how many you need or currently have, please contact your Academic Advisor or Mentor Teacher.
Seniors Going to Palomar Fall 2026 Now is the time to sign up for your fall classes at Palomar! Prior to registration, we suggest meeting with a Palomar counselor. You can schedule a meeting here.

Graduation Practice: Flex — Tuesday, June 2, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Begin in the theater and then move to the athletic field following lunch. TCP — Wednesday, June 3, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Begin in the theater and then move to the athletic field following lunch.

Grad Night: DATE: 6/7/2025 to 6/8/2025 PART 1: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Graduates will board buses at ECHS on Sunday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m. and be transported up to Disney's Anaheim Resort to enjoy all that the parks have to offer. PART 2: 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. DCA will be transformed into an outdoor graduation festival with music and dancing in almost every corner. PART 3: 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Graduates will be bused back to ECHS on June 8 where the PVO will provide breakfast, much-needed coffee, and gifts. Many teachers will stop by for a last minute yearbook signing and final farewell!
Important Reminders:
You will get your cap, gown and tassel at grad practice.
Students must complete their Senior Survey (completed in English class or with Mentor Teacher) prior to receiving their cap and gown.
Students are not to decorate their cap.
Students are not to wear a lei or stole other than those issued by the school or military during the ceremony (they are welcome to wear additional ones afterward for pictures).
ACADEMIC & STUDENT SERVICES INFORMATION
Community Service Deadline — Hours Submitted by May 19 The deadline to submit community service hours for this semester is Tuesday, May 19. All students are expected to serve a minimum of four hours each semester. Submit your completed hours, recorded on the ECHS Community Service Record Form, to the main office. Hours submitted after May 19 may not be reflected on the Community Service Report Forms mailed home with Report Cards. We suggest that you keep track of your hours (take a picture of each slip or keep track in a notebook) before submitting to the front office.
Summer/Fall Enrollment for Palomar Classes Early registration for fall AND summer Palomar classes started on May 4. To find your registration appointment date and time, log into your MyPalomar student portal and click on the Welcome link located in the Message of the Day.
Classes are available to search now, but you cannot register until your designated time. Please use this handout for further help or see your academic advisor.
Palomar Workshop - This Friday Do you want extra help in enrolling in your Palomar classes? A Peer Mentor from Palomar College will be in the Future Center on Friday, May 15 from 12:40 to 1:25 p.m. to answer any questions you have. Sign up here to attend this drop in session. Students can get help with: Palomar applications, Canvas support, general college information, and navigating Palomar resources such as tutoring and library.

Self-Defense Class Are you interested in taking a self-defense class? The class is fun, realistic, and practical self-defense training for women and teens ages 12 years old to adults. Community Service Opportunity Heritage Elementary's ELO-Program is looking for high school volunteers.
